We wandered into Funky Garcia's lured by promises of great drink specials at happy hour. Of course that meant a basic margarita at best, but it was a good way to get the afternoon rolling. But then we met Shannon who was bar tending that day and everything changed.
You see, Shannon really knows her tequila and so do we. Thus, we went from house specials, to awesome creations. Plus we got to sample a lot of new tequila flavors along the way. Our goal is not to get drunk, its to sample great drinks and unique tequilas and this was the right place to do it.
To be honest, once we got rolling, we were not ordering specific drinks from a menu, rather we were working with Shannon to create interesting combinations and she did an excellent job. Thus, we can't recommend a special drink to try. Instead just go in and ask for Shannon and tell her to come up with her best recipe.
We don't have a specific drink to rate, but we give Shannon's talents a 5!
