Breakfast margarita anyone?? Initially that sounded pretty... hmmm... what is a polite way to put it... unappetizing. But a couple of our hardy margarita testers gave it a whirl (for breakfast) and gave it a thumbs up.
Composed of fresh orange juice, pineapple juice, Cuervo Gold and a few secret ingredients, it comes out more like a suitable early morning beverage than a true margarita. But what the heck, if you are a margarita lover this offers up a very important aspect - OPTIONS - especially for starting out the day early, or maybe wrapping up the night really late.
Cafe Coyote is located in the heart of Old Town San Diego and offers up a complete menu of margaritas and great food. It always seems crowded late in the day, so get there early, especially if you are going for the breakfast margarita.
By the way, Old Town has a lot to offer in the way of great margaritas and Mexican food. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the San Diego area. You drive there or take the Trolley.
The breakfast margarita was ranked as a 3 limer.
